In 2001, a bold entrepreneurial vision was born in Punjab. With a clear ambition to transform the region’s real estate landscape, HR Group took its very first steps into property development — a beginning built not on resources, but on relentless determination and a commitment to doing things right.

HR Trading Company & Chotti Baradari

HR Trading Company was formally incorporated and the iconic Chotti Baradri office was established as the Group’s first permanent base of operations. Alongside, a heavy equipment leasing business was launched — deploying JCB machines, forklifts, and vibrators across Himachal Pradesh, while tractor-trolley fleets handled bulk soil deliveries across the region.

A landmark moment — HR Developers and Promoters Pvt Ltd was incorporated, marking the formal entry into construction. Government and village-level contracts began, including sewage pipeline construction for local authorities. The Group also undertook its first Hydro Project in Himachal Pradesh, establishing engineering credentials from the very start.

"Do It" Brand & Punjab's First Interlocking Tiles

HR Enterprise was established, launching “Do It” — HR Group’s own Mango Fruity drink brand — with a dedicated manufacturing plant at Saaha, near Ambala. Simultaneously, HR Building Solutions set up a Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) plant alongside an interlocking tiles factory. HR Group was the first company in Punjab to manufacture interlocking tiles — a historic industrial milestone.

Hydro Dams & National Highways

2008 marked the Group’s entry into major national infrastructure. The Earth Dam at Chandani Small Hydro Project, District Sirmour, Himachal Pradesh was awarded and completed on time (₹26.11 Lakhs). In 2009, India’s leading BOT concessionaire Rohan Rajdeep Tollway awarded the Group a National Highway embankment contract on the Amritsar–Bagha Border road — a prestigious recognition of our engineering capability.

HR Vehicles Pvt Ltd was established with dealerships for AMW trucks, Hindustan Motors, Abamassor Cars, ACE Equipment, and Backhoe Loaders — with showrooms in Bathinda, Ludhiana, Dera Bassi, Samana, and Patiala. HR Fabtech Pvt Ltd launched manufacturing of AC bus bodies and truck trailers. HR Industries acquired a cellar in Faridkot from Harman Agro Food Pvt Ltd (bought at government auction).

HRJP Technical Service LLC was registered in Dubai to spearhead international operations, and HR Developers was registered in the United States of America — making HR Group a truly global enterprise. On the ground, Kisaan Fertichem was launched to supply affordable fertilizers to Punjab’s farmers. Major government contracts followed: RGNUL (₹9 Crores), Improvement Trust Patiala HIG Flats (₹3.27 Crores), Patiala Bridge (₹1.50 Crore), and sewage treatment plants across Punjab.

India's #1 AMW Truck Sales & Mangalam Energy

HR Vehicles sold the highest number of AMW trucks in India — a record that earned an official national award for excellence. The Group also executed the prestigious Mangalam Energy Dev. Co. Ltd. Hydro Power Project in Sirmour, Himachal Pradesh — constructing the weir, intake chamber, tunnel, desilting tank, power channel, power house, penstock supports, and switchyard. Simultaneously, the Group’s real estate division was being positioned for a major expansion.
